Low resolution banknote images

Banknote reproduction shall mean any tangible or intangible (virtual) representation that uses all or part of a banknote, or utilises unique graphic elements of a banknote, which may resemble or give the general impression of a genuine banknote, irrespective of the size, material, colour or visual elements of the representation.

It is prohibited to make or have others make any reproduction which may be confused with any banknote, or which resembles in its graphic representation. This prohibition applies both at the time of the creation of the reproduction and its actual usage.

No authorisation is required from the Magyar Nemzeti Bank if the reproduction is made available by electronic means, on a website or via a wire-based or wireless device.
